When
I was young,
nothing
was possible,
And
everything was wonderful,
Achievement
was always on your doorstep,
You’ll
get it on your own way.
I
was carefree,
I’ll
do anything I want to do,
Without
worrying even a second thought,
I’ll
know there’ll be someone on my back,
Keeping
me safe and secure,
And
thus my dreams were as limitless
As
if only the sky was the limit.
Wonder where all the confidence
Drained away,
As I looked back in the mirror now,
I was free back then,
But now I feeling the burden
Piling up on my shoulder.
Responsibility,
Is what you have to bear when
You grow older,
A tiresome life being an adult,
Enough to reminisce my childhood,
Just to recollect those missing pieces
Of distant memory.
I used to pray day and night,
God, make me an adult soon,
Oh, how I wish I could turn back time?
An irony, indeed.
The one thing you want is
The one thing you’ll later regret.
Make believe as much as I want,
The past cannot returned back
To my aged figure.
